Who I Am

It’s progress rather than change.  Looking and feeling good can make you feel poised, confident and motivate you in your personal and professional life.  This conveys to others you care about yourself and how you want to be perceived.  Style, color, and the way you wear clothing can give you a sense of clarity and display your personal brand.

1.  I’m not a label shopper, instead I’m a quality shopper, and prefer quality over quantity.

2.  We will shop according to your budget and note ideas for future purchases when your budget allows.

3. If you love to shop, I will organize and “shop your closet” prior to your shopping venture.  I’ll utilize existing clothing and accessories that will give you a number of looks from your current closet that you hadn’t considered.  I’ll create a list of items needed to complete your entire look for you to adhere to on your shopping trip.

4.  I identify the real you so your style expresses who you are, not who I want you to be.  Take or leave my suggestions.  You’re the client.

5.  I make zero commission from stores off your purchases.  Therefore you are not required to buy any clothing.

6. I work efficiently and am the guardian of your budget.

I train Corporations regarding “Company Positioning” to better define and brand themselves in the competitive marketplace related to how they appear to their clients.  I have received rave reviews from both men and women employees who have participated in this type of seminar.

I also create Company Lunch-and-Learns to spread the word about the importance of image.

I reside in Austin, Texas with my husband, Salvatore “Ted” Balistreri, who specializes in Retained Executive Search Recruitment.   Some fun facts about me:   I love biking, yoga, golf, gardening and International travel.  My family accuses me of being a detective because I ask so many questions.  I love Double-Stuffed Oreos and normally eat 10 cookies with milk in one sitting. I look forward to my Saturday and Sunday crossword puzzles.  Romantic movies I adore.   I love last minute plans.  I could eat macaroni and cheese daily.  Most of all, I feel lucky I’m able to surround myself with my true passion of helping others develop their personal style.

I’ve taught informal classes on “Reinventing Yourself” through the University of Texas-Austin continuing education.

My non-profit work includes the Fort Hood women soldiers transitioning from the military into the civilian world on dressing professionally and including adding their personality into their wardrobe.
